The interview

Interviews can be stressful situations so it is useful to practise and rehearse interview skills and techniques before the actual day. There are books and videos available from good bookshops that you might find useful. There are also useful websites which provide virtual interviews, such as:

A list of questions to ask the interviewers about the course and the study support available etc. should be drawn up in advance and taken to the interview. This will act as a reminder during the interview and also demonstrate that the interview has been prepared for.

A clear understanding of the further education course applied for and the curriculum demands are necessary.
