Homework- getting it down in class

Recording homework in class can be difficult for some children when they may be worried about the next lesson or getting on the school bus.

Ideas that you could discuss with the class teacher:

• Ask if the homework could be printed out on freezer stickers
• Could your child have a homework buddy so work can be checked together
• Could you have a name of parent you can contact if you are not sure what homework needs to be completed
• Could they use a homework diary that can be used between home and school
• Does the school have an intranet system where homework is placed- do you know how to access this?
